There are several ways to add a photo to a contact:
- Select the photo file in one of the following ways:
- Drag and drop the image file onto the current contact.
- Amend the contact and select the Photo tab. Then do one of the following:
- Drag and drop the image file onto the photo box.
- Click Add and select an image with the file selector.
- Right-click, select Add and select an image with the file selector.
- If the image is bigger than 90 * 90 pixels, shrink or amend the image.
- Click Save on the contact dialog (if you used it to add the photo).
To use the file selector to choose an image:
- Open the file selector
- Select to the file you want to use (clicking on the image will show you a preview on the right panel).
- Click Open to select the file.
The file selector will remember the location that you last used to open a file.
- Amend the contact.
- Select the Photo tab on the contacts dialog.
- Remove the photo in one of the following ways:
- Click the Remove button.
- Right-click the photo and select Remove.
- Click Save to close the contacts dialog (clicking Cancel will close without deleting the photo).
- When you try to add a photo that is larger than 90 * 90 pixels, LazyContacts will prompt you to shrink or amend the image.
- Select Shrink to automatically shrink the photo so its longest side is 90 pixels.
- The original photo file will not be shrunk.
- When you try to add a photo that is larger than 90 * 90 pixels, LazyContacts will prompt you to shrink or amend the image.
- Select Amend to manually select an area of the photo to attach to the contact, then:
- Drag the selection box to the area you want to use.
- Resize the selection box by dragging its corners to the desired size.
- When you are happy with the photo in the preview window, click Save.
- The original photo file will not be amended.
