Importing Contacts From File

Contacts that have been created with another application can be imported into your LazyContacts address book. The contacts must be VCard contact files (.vcf files) or Comma Separated Variable files (.csv files). To import contacts:

1. Select File -> Import From File from the main menu.
2. In the Files of type box, select .vcf files or .csv files.
3. Browse to the folder containing your .vcf or .csv files and click Open.
4. Any contacts that weren't already in your LazyContacts address book will be imported.

Importing Contacts From Outlook Express

Contacts created in Outlook Express can be imported in the following way:

1. Open Outlook Express.
2. Select File -> Export -> Address Book... from the main menu in Outlook Express.
3. Select Text File (Comma Separated Values) and click Export.
4. Select the file that you want to save to and click Next.
5. Select the fields that you want to export and click Finish.
6. Follow the steps in Importing contacts from file, using the file you just created.
